The Frederick Veterinary Referral Group is dedicated to providing the most advanced, compassionate, speciality and emergency veterinary care available. We are committed to open communication with clients and referring veterinarians, allowing us to tailor individual care to each patient and circumstance.

How Are We Different?

FVRG has been serving the greater Frederick community since 2004 and is one of the few non-corporate owned veterinary referral hospitals in the  greater Washington DC area.
Our highly experienced and well trained doctors and staff work together to combine their emergency medical and surgical expertise to provide the best treatment for their patients.

Why Is This Important?

We are owned and operated by two veterinarians with long standing ties to the community. This allows us to make medical decisions freely, without the constraints of non-veterinary corporate managers. Our owners, veterinarians, and staff live in the local community, so we take pride in witnessing the success and impact of our services.  We value our clients and our strong relationships with the veterinary community.

Our Promise:

We are a comprehensive referral group that offers many, but not all services. We are committed to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine, and providing the best, proven surgical and emergency veterinary care available. We work in close collaboration with other veterinarians, specialists, and University Teaching Hospitals throughout the region and the country. If there is a specialized procedure that we do not offer, but would benefit your pet, we will gladly inform you of your options and arrange for a referral.
