The Frederick Veterinary Referral Group is dedicated to providing the most advanced, compassionate, speciality and emergency veterinary care available. We are committed to open communication with clients and referring veterinarians, allowing us to tailor individual care to each patient and circumstance.

How Are We Different?

FVRG is one of the few non-corporate owned veterinary referral hospitals in the  greater Washington DC area.  We are individually owned businesses that provide collaborative medicine. Our teams of experts work together under one roof to combine their medical and surgical expertise to provide the best treatment for their patients.

Why Is This Important?

Our individual practices are owned and operated by veterinarians. This allows us to make medical decisions freely, without the constraints of non-veterinary corporate managers. Our owners, veterinarians, and staff live in the local community, so we take pride in witnessing the success and impact of our services.

Our Promise:

We are a comprehensive referral group that offers many services. We are committed to staying at the forefront of veterinary medicine, and providing the best, proven speciality and emergency veterinary care available. We work in close collaboration with other veterinarians, specialists, and university teaching hospitals throughout the country. If there is a specialized procedure that we do not offer, but would benefit your pet, we will gladly inform you of your options and arrange for a referral. As we are committed to the patient and owner, we will go the extra mile to assist in the treatment of your pet.
